I sold my house and got on the road a couple years ago, traveling the country in my Daewoo (a car), staying in hotels - all while doing full time work on the road.

How many of us are not going to retire in the style we are used to? Instead, we need to keep working. But, there are many jobs that you can do from your "home office" - and that "home" can be anywhere. For me, I only needed a laptop and internet to work - so I am on the road.

When you do "retire" by working on the road, it is a different way to travel, since working 40+ hours per week means you only really have a day or so per week to see the country. But, it still allows you to experience the country.
