Airbnb WANTS to pay taxes!
Submitted by Wanderlust AndiIn what seems like a irregular move, Airbnb wants to collect and pay taxes. This is challenging conventional wisdom in a number of unexpected ways. The staff behind Airbnb is hoping that this will make sense both economically and politically. These taxes are integral to the development of cities, making this an important move for Airbnb to consider.
Interestingly enough, some legislators, who were once pushing for taxes from Airbnb are now against these taxes, as they fear that taxing Airbnb would basically be sanctioning the business.
