Baby Boomers plan on traveling in 2015
Submitted by Wanderlust AndiAs we move forward into the year 2015, one economic prediction appears more certain than many others. The baby boomer generation plans on traveling as much as possible. A large percentage of this generation has increased their efforts to save and spend their funds on traveling both domestically and internationally. Many of the members of this group believe they have earned the opportunity to make these trips, and they now appear ready to take advantage of those earnings.
I can readily relate to this. And - for those of you that have the "travel bug", but can't afford it - you might want to consider working while traveling. For, there are many jobs that you can do on the road while you live in your RV - or in hotels.

Will you get the Apple Watch for your travels?

Airlines, hotels and booking sites have already been busily developing apps, compatible with the new wearable and each brand is adding unique features, such as IHG's Dick Tracy-style translation app, which is similar to a successful iPhone app. Starwood has developed an app, allowing the Watch to be used as the room key.
Will virtual travel replace real travel?

It would be pretty nice to paddle through a mangrove swamp or stroll along the Great Wall of China without having to negotiate time off work. Unfortunately, this is unlikely to happen any time soon. The smell of a tequila distillery or the fireworks at a local festival won't be coming to any headset.
