How to stash your cash as you travel

You made need to travel with cash, yet you want to travel safely. By distributing currency on your person and concealing small amounts of cash and coin in multiple easily accessible places, you can avoid becoming a target for thieves.

For travel in dangerous areas, conceal cash in more difficult to access places (like inside your shoe), but don’t put all your eggs in one basket. Bottom line: be discreet, blend in (don’t look like a wealthy tourist), and leave as much of your valuables (and bling) as you can in a hotel or hostel safe while you explore.
