Peekaboo bathrooms in hotels? Nooooooo!

We are begging hotel designers: please create a sensible bathroom enclosure. There have been a plethora of "peekaboo" bathrooms: bathrooms where all in the hotel room - and possibly outside - can see you doing - whatever. And - this is in upscale hotels!

Few appreciate this. Most don't want to be on display in the shower or, worse, on the toilet. So - we only have to ask: why?

Should hotels charge separately for amenities and services?

If hotels charged separatenly for their amenities and services (such as housekeeping, WiFi, and TV), it could lead to a lower hotel bill. But - is it worth it?

Some want their hotel rooms cleaned first thing in the morning. Others want a leisurely morning, so don't want their rooms cleaned until the afternoon. When do you want your hotel room cleaned?

Now you have no excuses for not exercising in a hotel

You are on the road in a hotel, have eaten too much, and are feeling sluggish - so, you really "should" exercise. But, there is either no exercise room in the hotel (or it is closed), or, if there is an exercise room in the hotel, it is either too busy, doesn't have the right equipment or, let's face it, you really don't want to get dressed up enough to go to the exercise room.
