Planning on long-term travel? Be prepared!
Submitted by Wanderlust AndiAre you planning a long-term travel excursion? Be aware that long term trips can add additional tasks, such as::
- addressing the financial implications
- getting any needed immunizations
- obtaining your passport (which can take 4-6 weeks - or big bucks if you need to expedite the process)
- applying for a visa, if needed
- making mail and house arrangements
- plus doing the usual travel arrangements, clothing and packing.
So - start as soon as possible so you can ensure that your trip is the best ever!
