Science tells you: take a vacation!

Taking time off to go on vacation is important. In fact, there are scientific and health reasons that you should rest and relax.

  • First, having downtime is associated with lower body mass index and a lower waist circumference. Not only does this mean you have a slimmer waist, but it also indicates your overall health is in good condition.
  • Spending time on vacation can actually give you a longer life by decreasing future heart attacks and coronary death.
  • Going on vacation also helps you become less stressed and as a result, you end up with less stress-related physical complaints.
  • It can also help steam up your sex life.
  • Finally, going on vacation can also help you sleep better than at home. You are away from sleep-disrupting distractions, which helps you get better quality rest.

Really - given the above - is there any reason to NOT go on a vacation???
