Smart move, Hyatt: free WiFI with no strings attached
Submitted by Wanderlust AndiHyatt hotels are now offering free WiFi to all guest who stay at their hotels. Free Wi-Fi will be available as of February, 2015 at all Hyatt and Hyatt-branded hotels around the world. Guest can use the free WiFi on mobile devices or laptops, with no limit to the number of devices. There is also no restrictions on how the room was booked or the loyalty program membership.
Smart move on Hyatt's part. If I was choosing a 3+ star hotel - I would certainly pick Hyatt - and never pick Marriott.

The reason why they did this, as the FCC claims, was to force guests in the hotel (mainly those attending conventions) to purchase the broadband internet services from Marriott International.
