Have $10? Save your life (and valuables) while traveling

Submitted by Wanderlust Andi

Save your life while traveling on the road with travel accessories that are fairly cheap (under $10):

1) A door stop for extra protection against having people come into your room while you are there.

2) A multi tool - you never know what you might have to fix, and you can get what you need for a fairly cheap price.

30 Ziplock bags for keeping items like your passport and phone dry (as well as transporting your liquids).

4) A Quikclot clotting sponge in case you get a very nasty cut.

5) Rubber bands. Wrapping rubber bands around your wallet - and other valuables - makes it hard for thieves to pull your items out of your pocket.

6) A flashlight. Yes, you do have your smart phone with its flashlight. But, if you are, for example, stranded, you do not want to use up your battery life on your phone. It is better to minimally get a small keychain flashlight.

So, for the cost of a just couple cups of coffee, you can make your life - and your valuables - safer.
