Submitted by Wanderlust Andi

Are you planning a trip for Labor Day? Watch out - the scammers are busy! But, you can have a scam-free Labor Day trip if you take a few preventive steps: use reputable travel agents; or, if you make your own travel plans, be sure to use reputable online travel sites; get all of your plans in writing; and use your credit card for additional security. And - if a deal sounds too good to be true, beware: if they tell you that you have "won" a trip, you have most likely won a scam.
