Planning ahead can save money, time, and make your trip a whole lot healthier and convenient.
I have found that booking the Priceline.com Express deals has saved me a minimum of 20% - and often 50% on hotels. Also, as you book a room, factor in the additional price of meals if they don't offer a free breakfast, or don't have a fridge and microwave (so you can cook some quick meals and snacks in your room).
