What do the Millennials want in travel?
Submitted by Wanderlust AndiHipmunk, an online travel company, recently polled 1400 participants, asking about their travel habits and preferences. They noted several interesting facts about Millennials in particular.
One of the most important things to Millennials is the accessibility to Wi-Fi, which helps them maintain an active online presence. However, during the flights, they crave privacy rather than IRL (in real life) interaction with fellow passengers. In order to cut cost, many Millennials would give up seemingly important amenities on a plane ride and at the accommodations at their final destination. Almost all Millennials polled were planning travels in the upcoming year, and almost half were planning three or more.

The American Hotel & Lodging Association suggests that we tip housekeepers anywhere between $1-5/day for their housekeeping services. However, almost 1/3 of those who stay in a hotel don't leave a tip.

Many hotels charge customers for the right to use and access the wireless internet at a hotel. For example, Marriott, a 4-star hotel, can charge over $10/day per device. That means that, if you carry the usual 3 WiFi devices, you can easily be charged over $30/day for WiFi.
