According to a recent study, 8% of reservations were booked with a handheld mobile device. Americans still make hotel reservations offline 43% of time. There are many possibilities to explain these findings. For example, some people might prefer booking with a live person or being able to compare places and prices using multiple windows or tabs on a computer.
