Don't get stuck with a huge data roaming bill!

Everyone wants to avoid expensive data charges when traveling with their cell phone. It’s important to communicate with your cell phone provider to understand exactly when and how roaming charges apply, for you can be charged data roaming charges even if you are traveling in your own country.

Consider what you need your phone to do while traveling, and then disable non-essential functions such as data synching and data roaming while you are gone. Also, investigate any app that might turn on these features automatically. And, most importantly, monitor your data usage to reduce any unwanted charges.
